Mangalik or Kuja Dosha can be ascertained in a Native’s Chart by seeing the position of Mars in the Natal Chart (D1). If Mars is placed in the following houses from Ascendant/Lagna then one has Manglik Dosha: 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th House.
If Mars is placed in the 7th or 8th house from Lagna then this Dosha is considered more dangerous and at its severity.
If Saturn is conjunct Mars in any of the aforementioned placements then it’s considered a Double Mangalik Dosha.
Mangalik Dosha can cause issues in Marital life such as separation, divorce, not being able to settle down and in its worst cum worst scenario, it can make one a widow or widower.
However, there are various planetary placements in ones Kundali itself, that can negate the cause and effect of this Dosha being created in the Natal Chart, some of them are:
* First and foremost if Jupiter is posited/conjunct Mars in this position or aspecting this Dosha or aspecting the 7th house from its Natal position then it will save one greatly from the malicious effect of this Dosha.
* If Mars is posited in its own sign (Aries & Scorpio) or is in its sign of exaltation (Capricorn) then this Dosha is negated.
* If Moon or Rahu are in Kendra houses then the Dosha is negated.
* If Rahu and Mars are conjunct then too this Dosha is cancelled out, even though that would create another Dosha, but Mangalik Dosha will be cancelled.
* And lastly, in whichever house Mars is posited which is creating this Dosha as per the above mentioned positions, they should find a partner who has either Mars, Rahu or Saturn posited in the same house in their partner’s Natal Chart, this will cancel out the Dosha and the couple can have a perfectly safe union.
